Association History

The Arkansas Agricultural Pesticide Association Inc. was founded in 1963 by a group of regulators, manufacturers, retailers, consultants, distributors, and educators. The members of the association realized the importance of the safe use of crop protection chemicals to the agriculture industry of Arkansas. On March 5, 1996 the association changed its name to Arkansas Crop Protection Association Inc. (ACPA) to better describe its role in protecting the state interest.
